Dragonflight is scheduled to launch on November 28, 2022, which is the ninth expansion for World of Warcraft. When is Dragonflight Pre-Patch?

The Dragonflight Pre-Patch is launching in two phases:

Phase 1: October 25th, 2022 (US) / October 26th, 2022 (EU)
Phase 2: November 15th, 2022 (US) / November 16th, 2022 (EU)

When Servers Will Be Down For Pre-Patch?

Get ready for an extended 8-hour maintenance tomorrow as Blizzard updates servers for the Dragonflight pre-patch.

Dragonflight Expansion Pre-Patch Event: Primal Storms

The in-game Dragonflight Pre-Patch Event, Primal Storms, will launch on November 15th. Expect new quests and world events as the Primalists attack Azeroth. The Pre-Patch event includes:

Invasions on both Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms
Item Level 252 catch-up gear
A new toy: Bag of Furious Winds
A new Heirloom trinket: Unstable Elemental Confluence
A new Feat of Strength: Against the Elements

In addition, the Uldaman dungeon has been revamped. The new version, Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr, will see players once again venturing into the Titan facility beneath the Badlands.

Resurrection SICKNESS? It’s Just A Cough

There is now only one minute of resurrection sickness. The durability loss for resurrecting characters below level 10 has been increased to 10%, while the durability loss for characters above level 10 has been increased to 50% (was 25%).

New Mount and Pet Achievements

Four new pet collector achievements await in the Dragonflight pre-patch. You will receive the pets automatically if you collected the required number of unique pets.

Otterworldly Ottuk Carrier is a mount rewarded from the “Thanks for the Carry! Thanks for the Carry!!” achievement. If you’ve collected 500 mounts on live servers on a single character, you will automatically receive it when the Dragonflight pre-patch releases.
