Ordinarily, Darkmoon Faire is a recurring event in “World of Warcraft,” taking place once a month on Darkmoon Island. You can only go to DMF when the event is active, unless you have a particular Warlock quest active. The quest is called “Beginning Impositions” … it’s the Warlock Special Questline for learning more customisations for the Imp and Felhunter.
As many players have a whole stable of alts, along with Level 70 boosts, it’s feasible to have a character with permanent open passage to Darkmoon Island. The only caveat is that you haven’t completed the quest yet!
On your Warlock, head over to Stormwind, and look for a new quest in The Mage Quarter. It’s listed as an “Important Quest” so you’ll see a purple exclamation mark icon on your map.
You’ll be whisked away to Darkmoon Island, where you can plant this character to live out their days, making gold by way of fishing up Darkmoon Daggermaw.
if you’re especially desperate to make gold from Darkmoon Daggermaw (which always spikes in value in accordance with DMF being available).
