Stray on Fanatical

Stray is a third-person cat adventure game set amidst the detailed, neon-lit alleys of a decaying cybercity and the murky environments of its seedy underbelly.

It doesn’t happen often, but once in a while, a game comes along that instantly makes you realize that it’s going to be one of the most exciting titles in its genre shortly. Looking at the trailer and a few screenshots, I can already tell this game will be good. Therefore, I believe that Stray will be considered one of the best games ever made for cats as a result of the above reasons!

Movement

It is incredibly realistic how the cat moves. Cats in real life don’t do anything crazy like what Stray’s cat does. Cats can jump impressively, so I won’t be surprised that this furball has impressive parkour moves!

Behaviour

There is a certain similarity between the cat’s behaviour and how you would expect your pet to behave. In the trailer, the central kitty rubs against its cat friends, plays, and wrestles with them. Later on, we see a robot, and the cat wants to be super familiar with them and rub against their legs for as long as he can. Cats are good at sucking up to people who aren’t usually big fans of cats, just like in real life.

Freedom

Stray seems to encourage people to explore the levels instead of telling them exactly where to go in an obvious way. Little hints around the area lead you to the next destination. When people are playing, they aren’t jumping around like crazy like I probably would; instead, it looks like you can only jump when prompted, which will help narrow down the possible routes players can take. Some jumps look pretty scary, and the poor cat will fall if you miss them. Luckily, the game is very forgiving, and I never saw anyone miss a jump.

Communication

The meow button is your communication method since you are playing as a cat. There is an intriguing story behind this adorable kitty, and it is easy to fall in love with him. Despite not even playing, I already adored this cute animal. That’s not hard to achieve with a cimp like me (cat simp 🤣) – you can find me on Google in a News Article in a British Newspaper for adopting homeless kittens .. so I’m probably the ideal target catsumer for this type of game.

Cat Butts

A cat’s butt will never be seen with its tail up, which is nice since if you have cats like me, you see a lot of it. As much as possible, they try to show off their rear as much as they can! There is a lot of times in the game where you are directly behind the cat, so not being able to see this was a wonderful rectum reprieve.

These are some of the reasons why Stray is going to be the best cat game ever. Definitely picking up the game here and trying it out. This is going to be a great game!
