There was a haunting incident involving two twins in the UK that simultaneously attempted to disconnect from IRL by leaping in front of traffic; it was featured on a TV show and so the YouTube video has millions of views. For some reason, when my gulidies started simultaneously behaving chaotically, completely unplanned and without any commentary, I couldn’t help but think of Folie à deux – or ‘madness shared by two’.
