Is Divinity Original Sin II Worth Playing? (2022 Update With Lowest Price Ever!)

Blog Post Update (June 2022)

On sale for less than £15!

Grab Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition at it’s lowest price yet from Steam. It is on sale until July 7th 2022 for only £11.99!

It’s at the lowest price ever, on any website (including the likes of CDKeys.net) – on Steam, no less! £11.99. If you even slightly enjoy RPGs, and the current energy prices haven’t gouged you to the point of no disposable income, I urge you to buy Divinity. You can return and refund it within 2 hours… I bet you don’t do that though!

What is Divinity Original Sin?

It’s an isometric (camera looking down from an angle) view of an RPG game in which you control a group of characters, and the game world is realistic. This means that the while the story has a path to follow, the way you get there will almost certainly be very different to how somehow else gets there. It’s also one of the best games of it’s genre, a lot of fun and particularly enthralling, through it’s combination of wit, great writing, fun combat – and it is quite a challenge. Playing coop with a friend is absolute peak gaming entertainment by the way!

My Quickfire Review of Divinity Original Sin II

Is Divinity worth buying? Yes! Especially at Steam’s current price of £11.99… £19.99 is 100% worth it too.

Story-wise, the game is fascinating, and the side quests have many exciting plots. Interactions are fully voiced, and the voice acting is top-notch. Decisions will profoundly impact your experience in the game. This makes this a fantastic match to revisit multiple times as different characters. The Origin Characters add a lot of appeal to the game as a whole. Their carefully crafted backstories and plot lines weave a very interesting additional dimension to the role-playing in the game. There is no doubt that fighting is a mental and complex affair that requires your full attention on everything that is going on. You feel rewarded with every win, which makes this a much more satisfying experience than most other games. I enjoyed exploring the massive world and finding many interesting side quests along the way. Getting to know the world in this game is an incredible experience. Not only are the visuals amazing, there is also a great sense of rhythm to the game. There is also wonderful art direction throughout. One of the most brilliant RPG soundtracks I have ever experienced and easily one of the most satisfying listening experiences I have had. Rivellon’s lore is fascinating, and it is a joy to discover new details as you progress through the game.
