Understandably everybody has advised using OBS Studio – I don’t know any streamers that DON’T use it. However, the software that comes with the Elgato HD 60 S uses the hardware, which means offloading bit-encoding and such, and freeing up CPU and GPU solely for game, and it keeps temperatures down etc.
I can record, trim, then upload directly from the app, or I can Stream live – all very intuitive.
The final piece of the puzzle; I can capture PS1, PS2, PS3, Playstation 4, XBox One etc.. – but right now I’m using it for #PCGaming.
