When is Pet Battle Bonus Week 2022?

According to the super squirt day guide (further down), you’ll see Super Squirt is not up during the 28th July 2022 Pet Battle Bonus week. Super squirt will be up on the next pet battle bonus event though!

What to do during Pet Battle Bonus Week July 2022?

Even without Squirt, the menagerie is a great way to train pets up. Make sure you have any bonus pet XP items ready and try to use them when you know you will take full advantage of the following 60 minutes. Having a route in mind can help with this, to minimize downtime spent travelling and using portals.

If you haven’t got the achievements for defeating the pet battle trainers around the main locations of World of Warcraft and the expansion packs, this is a great week to go ahead and do that – you will be able to unlock extra pets.

The highest priority item you should aim for is the Safari Hat. In order to get it, you will need to defeat 40 master tamers around Azeroth (including Outland and Pandaria). This unlocked “Taming the World” achievement, which rewards the Safari hat. It’s important to get this as soon as possible because you will gain 10% extra XP per bet battle, which stacks with other buff items. Or to put it another way, what would take somebody else 10 minutes, will take you 9 minutes, and then 7 minutes, and then 5 minutes (as the bonuses stack up). Less time spent levelling individual pets, means more time spent adding more pets to your roster overall.

There are so many ways to win nearly every pet battle in WoW, so first of all, don’t be afraid to experiment – don’t get hung up on the most ‘optimum’ team possible; the battle only matters once. Make sure you have Rematch add-on installed; this is a must-have for battle pet trainers.

What or Who is Super Squirt?

Squirt is one of the battle menagerie trainers, nothing more, nothing less…except for one thing: she can be beaten easily with just 1 pet, and 2 level 1 pets. A level 1 pet vs a level 25 pet, with the Double XP from Pet Battle Bonus Week, plus XP from the likes of the Safari Hat, means you can take a pet from level 1 to level 25 in just 3 battles. Or around 90 seconds.
