First of all – old school fans – you hold GSP in reverence; and rightly so. Thus, for GSP to come out and announce he DOES NOT WANT TO FIGHT USMAN … it speaks volumes. I believe, and I NEVER comment on the heart of a warrior, that GSP believes he has more chance of losing than winning.
I would have prerred he took the Anderson Silva route and humbly admitted that Usman is the best. Instead he simply said ‘nobody interests him’ That wasn’t his tone when Khabib was potentially on the cards – a fighter he absolutely could defeat.
